Transfer groups, ring order and what the assistant says when nobody is available.
Applies to: Voice plans
A transfer group is a name a caller can ask for — "sales", "the workshop" — and the phones that ring when they do. You can give each group the hours it is available.
The assistant tells them it is putting them through, then the phones ring. If nobody answers, it comes back and carries on helping.
Yes — that is what the hours are for. The group stays, and the assistant explains rather than ringing an empty office.
