AIssie can take a deposit, the full amount, or just a card on file before an online booking is confirmed — and keep a fee when someone cancels late or never turns up. A customer who has paid something turns up. One who booked in ten seconds with nothing at stake is the one who forgets, and you find out when the chair sits empty.
Reminders catch the customers who forgot. They do nothing about the ones who were never that committed — the double-booker keeping their options open, the Saturday morning slot claimed and abandoned. That is time you turned other customers away to protect, and there is no invoice for it. A deposit changes the maths on the customer's side before you ever have to chase anybody.
Your own Stripe account, set up from your AIssie booking settings. Payments land in it directly — AIssie is not in the middle.
Deposit, full payment or card on file. Choose your free-cancellation window and the fee you keep after it.
The card step sits on your booking page, right where the appointment is confirmed. No invoices, no chasing.
Into your own Stripe account. You connect it from your booking settings and remain the merchant of record — AIssie never holds your customers’ payments.
Yes. You can ask for a percentage of the booking, a fixed dollar amount, the whole price upfront, or simply keep a card on file and charge only if the customer does not show.
A cancellation inside the free window you set is refunded automatically. After that window, the late-cancellation fee you configured is kept.
Mark the appointment as a no-show in your calendar and AIssie applies the fee you configured — keeping the deposit, or charging the card on file.
Cards are only taken on your booking page. While a payment policy is switched on, your phone and chat assistants send the customer that link instead of confirming a booking nobody has paid for.
Only if you want to. The wording at checkout is yours to write or link to your full terms, and the whole consent step can be switched off if you do not have a policy.
Deposits are part of AIssie’s online booking — see pricing for what is included at each tier. Stripe’s own processing fees apply on top, the same as any card payment you take today.
